Take the Long Way Home (coming soon)
We could have taken the interstate, but we didn’t. We took the long way home because I’d always wanted to drive along California’s coastal highway. Famed for its winding roads and scenic cliffs…
I hadn’t seen Big Little Lies yet, but I now know California’s coastal highway looks a lot like Monterey. And I understand why the novel was set there. The jagged coastline makes an eerily captivating backdrop for a haunting tale about deception and death. But this story, I confess, doesn’t involve a murder. In fact, nobody dies. The kids are just fine. And everyone lives happily ever after.
